Job description
The international Water/Wastewater Engineer/Team Leader (TL) will provide overall organization and management of the FSR team and shall ensure the quality of all outputs. The TL will be the focal point for all communications between the consulting team, donors and the beneficiary. The TL will lead the initial scheme design and option comparison process, the diagnosis of the current set-up of the utility sector, the selection of the preferred scheme and the preparation of the feasibility study and the preliminary engineering design together with the preparation of the project implementation plan. Furthermore, the TL shall lead the workshops and shall prepare the key project reports. This post is for the Asian and African sub-continents

What we look for in your profile
Preferred qualifications include:
Degree in civil engineering or urban development with a master’s or post-graduate degree specializing in urban development or wastewater engineering or similar;
Solid experience as a TL for urban development projects in similar cities, ideally with government agencies and on donor funded projects in the region. Experience of working in the urban sector, will be considered an advantage;
Significant experience in planning and feasibility studies and the preparation of preliminary designs in the water/ wastewater sector;
Excellent skills in project team and time management;
Excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills as well as reporting and presenting; and
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
